The students demonstrate the skills that they learned in Kindergarten. These skills are reviewed and expanded upon. First Grade students are learning to use Microsoft Word. They are learning to change the font, the letter size, and the color of the text. They will use these skills for future projects and assignments. They will create computer generated art projects that correspond to subjects learned in the classroom. They will learn and practice using the correct fingering to word process poems and stories. They are learning file management skills by saving their work in their personal folder on the network server.
