The students demonstrate the skills that they learned in previous years. They continue to build on these skills to produce projects that represent a higher degree of competency. The students are reviewing and using their wordprocessing skills. It is expected that they use the correct fingers to type. They will produce reports, write stories and poems using these skills. They are exploring how to add interest to a written document by inserting borders, and modifying picture layouts. They will create a multimedia project as an overview of their Social Studies curriculum. Students will use their computer skills to acquire information through research and complete projects that align to the fifth grade curriculum.
