This story takes place in outer space and in different dimensions.
10. Main Characters and part they play in the book:
(1) Meg Murry is a teenage girl who doesn’t fit in at school with her classmates and is very good at math. She has three brothers, Dennys, Sandy, and Charles Wallace, but she is the oldest of them all.
(2) Charles Wallace is a boy who doesn’t fit in at school and others think that he is not smart. He can read his sister, Meg, and his mom, a scientist. He can sense when Meg is upset and is usually there for her.
11. Are the characters believable and interesting?
Some of the characters are very believable, but some of the characters are not. However, all the characters are interesting. The believable characters act like people in the modern day world and it is very realistic because we can relate ourselves to them. They are interesting because their characteristics are all unique and different.
12. One excellent direct quotation from the book: (include who said it, page number, and use
quotation marks!)
“’We gave you gifts last time we took you to Camazotz. We will not let you go empty handed this time. But what we can give you now is nothing you can touch with your hands. I give you my love, Meg. Never forget that. My love always.’” Mrs. Whatsit (p.201)

In some parts of the book, it was confusing and hard to understand because of its scientific methods.
15. Did you like this book or not? And why…. This book was great, and when I started, I couldn’t stop. There were many suspenseful moments inside the book and the characters were very interesting and also believable.

11. Are the characters believable and interesting? I think Meg, Calvin, and Charles Wallace are all believable and interesting because they have characteristics like regular children. There are also three witches who lead the children to the dimensions named Mrs. Who, Mrs. Whatsit, and Mrs. Which who aren’t very believable because they are witches who can change into different things.
12. One excellent direct quotation from the book: “Experience is the mother of knowledge.” Quoted by Mrs. Who, page 238
13. Good reasons to read the book: A good reason to read this book is because you never know what is going to happen next and you can’t stop reading. Also you're wondering where Meg’s father will be.

I also liked the characters of all the different witches because they are all different. Overall this book was a great book and I think it is a great book to read if you enjoy reading fantasy.
