Dec. 10

Mrs. Franz and Fuelling left this morning without any problems. Their first stop is the Mission at San Jan Capistrano and then on to Lazy W Ranch in the afternoon.

Mrs. Franz and Mrs. Fuelling's classes are having a great time. So far they have made tortillas, tasted cactus, done sand art, made candles, done some weaving and built adobe shelters. The weather is good and they are looking forward to Thursday's activities.

Dec. 11

The weather is beautiful and both groups will be hiking for half of today and doing field investigation such as identifying trees and river exploration. The other half of the day will be mini investigations with owl pellets, building a critter and other free choice activities. After dinner they will go on a night hike and do sensory tests, echo location skills, plus other night time activities. All is well and everyone is healthy.
