4. Author of Book: J.K. Rowling
5. Year the book was published: 1920
6. Genre: Fantasy
7. Student rating of the book (1 the highest, 5 the lowest): 2

8. Main conflict in the book: Harry must figure out certain tasks to complete a competition, but during the process he has to defeat Voldemort.

9. Setting of the book: (place and time) England and some time in the 1900s (no specific time)

10. Main Characters and part they play in the book:
(1) Harry Potter, main character who has to go through the tasks.

(2) Mr. Fudge's son who is an imposter trying to prevent Harry from
winning. He pretends to be a teacher to reach Harry.

11. Are the characters believable and interesting?
The characters are believable because they respond to situations just as a regular person would do, and they are very interesting because they each have a personality of their own that is always in a type of mood.

12. One excellent direct quotation from the book:
This interesting quotation is a riddle that I find tricky,
"First think of the person who lives in disguise,
Who deals in secrets and tells naught but lies.
Next, tell me what's always the last thing to mend,
The middle of middle and end of the end?
And finally give me the sound often heard
During the search of a hard-to-find word.
Now string them together, and answer me this,
Which creature would you be unwilling to kiss?" (269) When Harry is in a maze, he encounters a sphinx that tells him this riddle.

13. Good reasons to read the book: 1 good reason to read this book is because it had me at the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. A 2nd reason why this book was excellent is because it is a very creative fantasy and uses high level vocabulary.

14. Any reasons not to read the book? It is occasionally boring when people at the ministry are talking, and the "d" word occurs 2 or 3 times.

15. Did you like this book or not? And why.. I thought it was extremely enjoyable because it made me feel as though I was there experiencing myself whatever the characters were doing. It is also great because this book allows you to dream in fantasy after reading a chapter.
